On the last post, I covered the first six things that might be missing from your website and so costing you potential clients.
This week is a continuation of that, and it features the last six elements that you may be overlooking on your website. To make it easier for you, I've created a website audit checklist that will walk you through your whole site to make sure that it is optimised. So, grab the download below and continue reading this post!
Having a website is one of the best things that you can do for your business, product or service and it should give you the results that you want. There are a few things that are missing from your website and that means loosing potential clients, less web page views and even worse is looking unprofessional to your visitors. Most of these things can be easily fixed with a few tweeks here and there.
Think of not having a client onboarding process like the time before the internet was invented. Unimaginable! The purpose of this process is to set the stage or really start on the right foot with any project. These are just the steps that I take and are not set in stone so feel free to take some tips and implement them within your business.
As a brand designer, color plays a huge part in my work. It helps convey visually what words can’t. A very cool thing is that color can be associated not only with words but also moods and tones. You can use color to make a bold statement or to bring a sense of peace in your surroundings. This means that the psychological connection that people have to a certain color can either make or break your brand.
So I was going through a few websites recently on business coaches because I’m interested in the subject but after opening a few, I realised that they all looked the same! Same fonts, same colours, the way their photography was taken down to what they said! It was like a trip to the chocolate factory and not in a good way.
Colors play such a huge role in our lives. Imagine how you’d feel right now if you walked in a house that’s all white. Take a minute and think about it. Personally, I’d be afraid to walk through it cause who knows what I've stepped on today! But others might get a sense of peace, tranquillity and love.
I never knew how important branding a business was until I started my own. A couple of years ago I started creating Jewelry for myself and thought why not sell them online? It was a labour of love because working with metals is a love and hate relationship for me. So I researched my heart out and found stores like Etsy, StoreEnvy and Dawanda.
Sometimes I just want to sleep. No stress over what I need to post on Instagram when I should schedule my pins or how much I engage in facebook groups. Having to always create content is soul draining. This post alone took me 3 days to write. Always finding an excuse that something else needs my attention (Netflix is extremely important to my sanity). And right there is the reason why I need to stick to my content creating routines.
If your anything like me then you fully understand how being sidetracked while working is so easy! Kids running in and out of the room, my husband can't find his socks (not joking!), my phones keeps sending me notifications and even worse when you get that email notification from Netflix that they added a new season of your favourite TV show!
